Giri Hydel Project

The power plant is situated on the river Giri of the Sirmour District of Himachal Pradesh. Giri Hydroelectric project has a total installed capacity of 60 Megawatts, with 2 units of 30 Megawatt each. This project, which is run-off-the-river scheme operated by Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board and is operational for 29 years.
