The Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Thermal Power Station is a coal fuelled thermal power station located at the Korba East in the state of Chhattisgarh in India. The power station is maintained and functioned by the Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company, which is under the state government that was formed in the year 2009 after the reorganisation of the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (The CSEB was formed in accordance with the Electricity Supply Act of 1948).
