Similarly the second unit is commissioned in 24 June 2008 with an installed capacity of 300 Megawatt. The synchronization of the power plant for 300 Megawatt of Unit 1 is done in 13 November 2007. Also the synchronization of the power plant for 300 Megawatt of Unit 2 is done in 29 March 2008.The equity contribution of the power project would be by State Government and Power Finance Corporation. State Government is backing 20% equity for the project and the remaining 80% has been contributed by the Power Finance Corporation (PFC). M/s Reliance Energy Ltd, Noida was awarded as the developer of first power project in the state.
